It was in 1860 in Orleans, France that Euge'ne Chevillotte created his company
specialized in producing equipment for cafes. The pool activity expanded rapidly
with the company as domestic demand grew through the development of pool
academies and billiard rooms.
In 1960, the Europa model was introduced and revolutionized the design and the quality of game tables. Today the newer version is the reference table for competitions throughout the world.
In 1971 Chevillotte extended its range to individuals. A manufacturing plant
was built in Orleans and hosts one of the most modern and exemplary
production facilities in Europe.
Today, the Chevillotte Company is present in more than forty countries.
Motivated by modern technology while still respecting methods and trade
secrets of its founders, the Chevillotte Company remains the standard for
superior quality and fine craftsmanship.
