Anodizing: A process used to improve the durability of aluminum. After a thorough cleaning, the aluminum is immersed in a polarized electrically charged bath of acid to induce oxidation. The parts are then rinsed and chromate is added, resulting in a brilliant permanent coloring of the metal. A final sealant is applied to give it a smooth and durable finish.

DELTA-13 ELITE: The rails and corners are made from    100 percent billet aluminum. The corners and rails are fastened with 4-40 stainless steel screws that are secured with high strength Loctite 262. The rails have a color anodize plating while the corners have a clear anodize finish. Every rack is measured using a CMM (coordinate measuring machine) to ensure that all of the tight tolerance have been met.    

DELTA-13: This rack is 100 percent cast aluminum and has been die cast into one piece. The rack has a high quality durable powder coat applied. Each rack is visually inspected for surface finish and then a sampling of racks go through cmm testing. There is no assembly required which increases the likelihood that the dimensions are within specifications.

Both racks have the same identical expectations relative to finish and inside dimensions. Both racks have a Lifetime Guarantee to never warp, bend, or splinter.
